Hymnson Chan has spent the last decade working as an award-winning stuntman & actor in Hollywood and amassed well over 120 credits. Including stunts on AVENGERS ENDGAME & BULLET TRAIN and was a Finalist in 87North’s “Stunt Design Showdown” which highlights Hollywood’s top, rising action designers. You may also recognize Hymnson from his memorable role on I THINK YOU SHOULD LEAVE WITH TIM ROBINSON or his recurring character on the legendary series, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, which even earned him some Emmy consideration.

As a writer, Hymnson was selected for the 2026 Rideback RISE Circle cohort, was a comedy writer for NBC's Diversity Showcase, Winner of the WeScreenplay TV Contest & Roadmap Writers Pitch Competition, as well as a Finalist in notable fellowships and writing labs.
With all these skill sets combined, Hymnson excels as a filmmaker with a unique, yet commercial eye. It is the entertainment business after all. His debut Action Short Film, RISE OF CHOW, has been selected for 32 festivals worldwide, nominated 26 times, and won 10 awards.

As a lifelong underdog, Hymnson focuses on showcasing unlikely heroes that break stereotypes and inspires others to forge their own identities through high-concept, action-packed stories. Consider him a cross between Derek Kolstad and Jordan Peele!
