Yeon Jin Lee was born in South Korea and raised in Seoul, Jakarta, and Southern California. She earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley, where a Pixar internship sparked her passion for filmmaking. After five years at NASA, she earned an MFA from USC, receiving the Annenberg Fellowship. She produced THE BALL METHOD (DGA Jury Prize, NPR-featured) and created the audio drama "Jack & Lou: a Gangster Love Story" starring Lisa Kudrow, with a feature adaptation starring Linda Hamilton premiering at the 2025 Cambria Film Festival. Yeon Jin is an alumna of Black List Feature Lab and Almanack October Colony with her feature script, SILICON VALLEY GIRL. Yeon Jin worked as a showrunner’s assistant on CBS’s "Watson" after the WGA Writers Access Support Staff Training Program. A Gold House Producer Accelerator Fellow, she shadowed Nina Yang Bongiovi on LUCKY LU (Cannes 2025 premiere) and recently associate produced BEDFORD PARK (Sundance 2026 premiere).
